Isn’t this nice, to have normal, fun posts once again? Good old tattoo………my first karaoke is already humming along in my head…….’one toke over the line sweet jesus, one toke over the line…….sittin downtown in the railway station, one toke over the line.’ Glad to hear all your babies are doing well. Ah, the dreaded ‘bath time’. Poor hubby takes murphy into the bathroom, closes the door……….and the next time I ’see’ him coming out again he looks like he’s been through a real battle! :-) He’s soaked to the skin, hair all mussy, and panting quite heavily! She had one on Sunday, must be ’stinky dog time.’ :-)) Keep me posted on your horse, although I have no idea what a ‘tobiano’ is?? But a baby horse would be so cute, pictures a necessity!! You been scouting out any good sites for Nutville in the U.P. lately?? Tiny …….already dreading ‘the long hot summer’ ahead. Love, td "Kathie" <kathi…@frontiernet.net> wrote in message

Hey Kat, there’s nothing at all wrong with the "blowing" you did! I’m glad that you posted what you did, it is helpful to all of us I think. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having an open and honest relationship with a therapist. I doubt any good would come of therapy in a situation where trust was non-existent! You and EVERYONE who has a therapy relationship needs to know that the appointments made are going to be kept, its not just the PTSD. I understand about control and PTSD though. When things were so chaotic as children, we work to make things predictible and stable in our lives later on (this has been a big GROWING area for me actually.) Early adulthood continued in chaos because it was the way I knew things to be; healing and fighting for my own personal health required me to choose to be stable, have a stable environment and enjoy stable relationships. There’s the reason I’m not close with my sister, her instability. I wish it were different but I can’t control her. I can’t have relationships with unstable people. Its just not healthy. I am SO GLAD that you had the talk with her, got things out in the open, and especially got what you need from her: a reliable schedule that you can depend upon. I’m very very happy for you Kat! Kristine

Kat my friend, I’m so glad to see you here. Glad to have heard from you in reply before too. Hang with the healing hon, you’ll weather the storm. Hugs, Kristine

Talk about labs and baths, how about my cat that sits on the edge of the tub and dangles his tail in the water, allows me to pet him with my wet feet! He’s a hoot…a water cat inside I think =) I had a retriever cat once. She would fetch these pipe cleaner legs from a furry spider she destroyed. She even fetched a $10 bill from my purse and put it in her water dish one night. CATS! Kristine

Thanks Kris, it’s good to be back. Just hiding out from the fighting and all, it triggered me so badly I couldn’t take it. I felt like such a deserter, but I had to take care of myself the only way I knew how, you know what I mean? But yeah, I’m weathering things. Think the t was pissed off & hurt, that I expected but most of all NEED regular appointments and insisted on it. She had been giving me extra sessions on her own time, but it was so hit and miss it just made me a nervous wreck not ever knowing when the appointments would be, you know? So she’s doing one session a week, and I feel safer about that. She’s such a sweet person, she comes out to my house because of the agoraphobia. I hated to hurt her feelings, but it was sending me in such a tail spin, the "not knowing" feeling. Or getting my hopes up thinking she was coming out, and then she’s not very good about calling to let me know, so then I’d end up with hurt feelings when she wouldn’t show up, not knowing if she was mad at me, in a car accident, or whatever. I suppose it’s the PTSD, but I have to have such an inordinate amount of control in my life. The less control I feel I have, the more stress I feel, the more easily triggered I become, and the more time losses I have. I NEEDED to KNOW when my appointments were going to be and needed them to be on a regular schedule. It’s important for helping us to feel safe. Good gosh, I’m just a-blowing. Whoops! : ) Thanks Kris. love, kat "BaliKris" <balik…@aol.comzipspam> wrote in message

Yes, it is good. I was just looking at UP realty on the net the other night, lol! A tobiano is a type of color, they’re paint horses that have dark legs, face, and then patches of white intermingled with black or brown or red on their body/neck areas. Like the Indian horses, not the spotted ones though. I had to laugh over your description of your hubby coming out of the bathroom! Tell him I can relate! : ) Row row row your boat gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a scream…. (forgive my limp noodle attempt at karaoke, see, I told you I sucked at it!) Love, kat

Hey Rick, How’ve you been? Yep, I think you’re absolutely right, and I have noticed that about you (not getting involved with negative postings). That’s what it was like before, and short of a few flare-ups once in a while that might last two-three-maybe four posts, the atmosphere in here was so much more supportive. I miss our old group. : ) kat "Rick Harle" <richard1…@charter.net> wrote in message

I had a girlfriend who had a labrador puppy that HATED baths. Labradors are typically water dogs, and Darby was no exception. When we would go for a walk, she’d go flying off the dock into the lake for a swim, race down the hill into the creek, puddle jump with the enthusiasm of a 4-year-old, but she did not like a bath. Unless it was mine. If I ran a tub for myself and left the tub unguarded for more than 10 seconds, she’d be in there, happily paddling around when I came back. It didn’t take long for us to figure out how to get her to take a bath. Run the tub and walk away. She’d hop in, we could go in and soap her after a while, then rinse and let her play in the tub until she was done. Dry, fluff and go. What a weirdo! Risa You see a lot of smart guys with dumb women, but you hardly ever see a smart woman with a dumb guy.

Tatoo? Gizmo just got shaved today, two of my dogs are permanently kennelled now (found them killing my chickens), and Moose and Topsy got a bath three days ago–the fur was a-flying!!! Oscar will get a bath next week, when it’s my day to clean house, the two i bathed wore me out, lol! when i was cleaning the bathroom afterwards though, i even found some hair on the ceiling from where moosey shook before i could wrap him in a towel!….ahhhhh……you’re probably going to laugh about this, but i’m actually seriously considering breeding psychomama. found a gorgeous tobiano racking horse stallion about 30 minutes from here, that if she were bred with him? live spotted foal guaranteed, so probably have to call the vet next week and get her checked, see if she’s all right reproductive-wise and get her shots. i love black/white tobianos though. and with gracie being solid black? bet it would be a good nick! karaoke sounds good to me, but you know i suck at that. i’ll "listen", eh? kat "tiny dancer" <tinydancer…@hotmail.com> wrote in message
