Just a note – I got an email this morning from the term paper writer wanting to know WHY I had such a negative attitude!!!??? Anybody with PTSD would NOT understand, of course. I once had this cowboy psychiatric nurse tell me that all I needed to do was get a "male" therapist, watch a couple macho moves, then think and feel "like a man." I think these folks honestly don’t know and/or understand. Is there a name for a male "bitch"? If so I am one! Comments welcome. So, Carl, may I call you Carl? While you are skiing "Big D", as your address implies, with your rossignols strapped to the back of your Porshe, there are tens of thousands of people like myself who are afraid, terrified, words cannot do justice to the pain and anguish we live with each hour. Afraid of skiing, (used to be a ski instructor), afraid of flying (used to be a commercial pilot) afraid of getting out of bed… pick something! I stay in my room in utter helplessness/hopelessness with no end in sight. You say you have to "try" to show empathy! That just doesn’t hack it in this inferno. What’s wrong with HAVING empathy! From my side of the equation, I can tell you that you ought to pick a different job description, we don’t need anyone else who tries to show empathy. Learn something else! You are only going to cause more pain for your "guinea pigs". As for back channeling a personal message to the woman above, that, IMHO, is tantamount to abuse in itself, and extremely inappropriate. When I click on the original post RE: Term paper writer, I get the following message. "Error! discussion group server responded: Bad article number Perhaps the article has expired <35159B6A.467DF…@connect.ab.ca> (2920)" This post certainly triggered a lot of us, including me. Other posts ahead of and before this post are addressable. Can the list owner explain why this particular posting is no longer available to the news group? Thank you, George
