– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Well, let’s see…I’ve had PD, PTSD and ag since 1984. Been doing much better lately although a little stressed out from trying to sell our house. I’m married to Don who I met on this group. :-) Wow! Cool! I never knew that! Neither did I! That *IS* cool!
We live in Canada, but I’m from CT originally. I love it here! People are sooooooo nice and so friendly. They say hello to you even if they don’t know who you are. I like that. I’m trying to get braver day by day even taking a flight to NY on July 22 (to go to CT) to see my Mom and relatives. I guess that sums it up. :-) The way you describe the people being friendly reminds me of in Tennessee where I’m moving to. Everyone seems very friendly, even to some guy with a weird Pennsylvania accent!
Same here in Georgia… at least, in small town rural Georgia where I live. People are very friendly.. MikeH
I have found in my limited experience that if you are friendly, most often people that you meet are friendly right back. We are finding that in our new neighbourhood, people who have lived here for years didn’t know each other … until we came along and now at least in our immediate area, the neighbours are meeting each other instead of being totally insular. It isn’t that we are totally outgoing freaks but we just wanted to meet our neighbours and one thing lead to another. I hope that it continues to grow but I know that it is a work in progress and will require continued effort by everyone. — Ron P Sometimes you’re the windshield:) Sometimes you’re the bug:( — The charter is available at:
