Question:

Something strange seems to be happening on this ng. I have only a handful of posts showing up on my screen. I have checked other ng groups and they appear in full swing. Have people gone elsewhere(as in the regulars)?Helloooooooo! With thanx Helski

Response:

Hello Mairtin, You are probablly correct in saying that folks might be having a rest after all that has been happening. But I must admit I am having the usual ptsd flutter/paranoia about  maybe I should stay out. I know it is silly really but then again I cannot seem to convince myself that  I have something to say.Blah blah……………. This is  a heart on the sleeve post for me. I think it’s spring fever.  People are spending more time outside, planting flowers and vegetables.  My ducks have returned and I just bought the land next to me which gives me a project. So, when we all start to move with the Spring weather, we’ll all feel just a little bit better and have less to say.  That’s what seems to be happening for me. I am sure it will change :) LA * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet’s Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet – Free!

Helski, if your spring seems so far away perhaps the international ng will write of their springtime observances of Mother Nature in her splendor and you will have hundreds of notes to enjoy as you await Her return.Just a thought! John De

I’ve been out learning to ride a motorcycle all weekend, then off to a conference since Monday. I’m sunburned and exhausted. Starting school and work all at the same time. Reading here is about all I have time for lately. I’d love to be down under right now. Autumn is my favorite season. I love the cool and crispness of the air, and the intense colors on the trees. You are sounding happily busy Risa except for the sunburn. Be extra vigilant on that bike won’t you b/c cars have the knack of not seeing you. Yes autumn and spring a just the best seasons. However down here we do not have many deciduous trees so the colour is not so much a feature. Our native shrubs do flower in autumn so the  shocks of colour thru the bush are beautiful. Helski, you write as a southerner or what we here in gods own Queensland call "Mexican’s" (south of the border) No offence intended Here it is getting cooler 24c today down to 17c overnight, just got through another tropical low which wiped out the beaches (once again!) and made many big puddles. Going to Noosa for State conference this w/e so will see the damage. Yes this n/g is very quiet. Is it because of that other group? Where’s Scott, Luanne, and heaven forbid steph? I wrote that I crashed recently, we’ll I’m better spiritually but I am sure hell of messed up. "Celebrated" my 2nd anniversary of my assault to the great news 3 police shot in the morn, one I knew from judo so my sense of control is affronted once again. But life has to go on even though I’m confused and angry. Bye Barb

Barb, No the Victorians are the Mexicans. Yeah the ng is  different like where is MaeTang? Which other group are you referring to I wonder? Hope you are feeling better. With thanx Helski BJ&GJC <cook…@primus.com.au> wrote in message

They see me pretty well. I ride in tie dye colors. Bright and varied colors. My helmet is multi-colored too. I do what I can to be seen, and ride defensively. :-) Risa It’s not the pace of life that bothers me; it’s the sudden stop at the end. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet’s Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet – Free!

Mae is taking a break from the internet for a while and is getting out in the Spring sunshine and going for walks…  I’m sure she wouldn’t want anyone to worry about her. seanna

Hi gang, I have noticed too that this NG isn’t has busy as usual!  I hope it is a good sign and not the calm before the storm.  Sometimes I suppose we all need a break from this. Things are moving along alright with me and I will be even happier when I move away from where I am presently…3 more weeks to go.  I wonder if after my move if I will ever be able to go back to work and function again?  Serious question left without answers yet. Anyhow I hope that everyone in this NG is doing well. Be well and hope to see all back at your post! Helski, The new group I referred to is contactable on www.onelist.com to subscribe if you want to send a message email to PTSDo…@onelist.com They seem to be a moderated group. I haven’t seen any names there that I used to see here however. Just got back from Noosa – miserable and cold rain (about 28c but still cold haha)  surf is still big and not much sand left on the beaches but it seems Maroochydore is the worse. Bribie Island has now got a beach but with a 3 metre drop to the beach from the surf club. Cheers Barb "helski" <hel…@idl.net.au> wrote in message
