As my ship sits floating in the water, I look at ptsd, and can make out other ships surrounding me… not close enough to make out the faces of their captains… but close enough to feel our shared strengths and weaknesses and united desire to reach that shore. I realize we have options united and alone to forward our worn-out and weakened vessels closer to the beautiful new land I can see in the horizon.
