Question:
Hi Claudia, Sorry it has taken me this long to get back to you. You know, a lot of the time I wish I could go back to being seventeen again. I remember also wishing I was older at your age… I really don’t have much advice there but to say I understand how difficult those teen years are in some ways. On the other hand, and I never would have believed it at the time, those younger years were truly the best years of my life. I hope you enjoy them as much as possible. You caught my curiousity… do you figure skate? I was a figure skater for thirteen years and I absolutely love the sport! : ) Sending you warmest of wishes and thoughts… take care and enjoy your youth as much as possible, you really aren’t that far away from being an adult and once you get there you can’t go back as I have had to unwillingly accept. He is a kind and caring little guy, like in the movie when he comforts little Togepi by trying to get him an apple, and then rocking and singing him to sleep. I wish I could find a guy as sweet as Bulbasaur, without the mutated froggy warts, of course ^_~. > > Is there any paticular reason why Charmeleon is your favorite? > He was just the one I was holding for comfort at the moment. Your daughter and I probably have the same selection of little poke play mates. ::big big Grin:: > I just turned 17, I dont think you are too old to play at all. I wish I was 27. I hate being in this neither/nor state. Tell me it will end soon, and that others will at least consider me an adult somewhere other than the movies and the skating rink. > Love and Kisses to you and the little daughter peep! > Claudia

<the_gemememeis…@trial.freedom.net> wrote in Hey Patricia! Always good to hear from you! How is everything? I’m having a better day, in part to your kind post. I’m sitting here eating big white mushrooms with garlic salt on them because they are my substitute for potato chips, cause this stupid medicine is making me hungry all the time, and I cant get into my fav clothes now! You Asked me: seventeen again. I remember also wishing I was > You caught my curiousity… do you figure skate? I was a figure skater for thirteen years and I absolutely love the sport! : ) LOL Oh no! I am no athlete. I roller skate, and I spend most of the time on my Bee Doodle, as my little five year old niece likes to call it! I love the exercise though. It really helps, and I have hives just thinking about aerobiics. BLAH BLAH SPELL IT WRONG AND LAUGH ABOUT IT BLAH! On a side note of some humor, I got into these mushrooms in such a bizarre way, someone in the Cosmos uses me for stand up comedy. I was in the PsyDucks office, I mean Psy Doc, sorry, I call him that to his face sometimes, ^ _^ , and I was reading this ancient magazine about teens getting into mushroom usage, well, I got to the part about the euphoria and the hallucinations, and how high they got, and then the nurse called me and i walked into his office and had my session. I forgot all about this until the next time i did our grocery shopping, I went to the mushroom section of the grocery store, Poor stupid me never thought that the mushrooms in the mag article would not be purchasable at KROGER, shows you how sheltered I am, and since i couldnt rememeber what kind I wanted to help me feel better, I bought about a pound of each. We had lots of mushrooms, and I called one of my COOL friends, and he about died laughing me. He said, well, you can cook just about any Asian or Italian dish, but you aren’t gonna get stoned with these Claud. So now, I eat mushrooms, which I actually like alot, instead of junk food, so see the Cosmos laughs, but they helped me out too. Love and Kisses, Claudia

Hi Caudia, I have never tried mushrooms as a snack but I’m the type of person to at least try (just about) everything once. I love garlic salt and the way you have described your "new snack" they sound good. : ) Hmmm… I sympathise with your problem of the meds increasing your appetite and not fitting into your favorite clothes. : ( To my knowledge mushrooms won’t do anything neg. for weight… good choice for snacking. Unfortunately, I am a smoker, and when I noticed an increase in appetite with my meds followed by some weight gain I started smoking more rather than eating. It’s bad I know and I am back down to my preffered weight but now I need to cut down on the smoking. I just can’t have everything I want I guess. : ) Roller skating is fun and a great way to get exercise. Because I am a smoker, I do little cardio. exercising (which is something I plan on changing soon) but I work out with weights and love the "release" I get from it. I am not an aerobic person either. : ) Actually, my daughter and I are getting roller blades soon and when this snow goes away : ( … big frown and feeling really impatient… I will be adding cardio for my health as well as an activity to do with my daughter. I am not too happy that she is only nine and already wants to be out doing stuff with her friends 90% of the time. I am not ready to give up my little girl to her friends … she looks like she is twelve and is already just over five feet tall… it is hard accepting the rate she is maturing. I let her go a lot but I want to find more things for her and I to do together that we can both enjoy…we have Pokemon… and roller blading has her interest. : ) Anyway, I feel like I am rambling now so I will finish with saying that you have brightened my day… I have been feeling down… and enjoy your mushrooms : ) You will be back into your fav. clothes in no time! Big hug and sending you the warmest of wishes, Patricia. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Daemina Piccolo wrote: > <the_gemememeis…@trial.freedom.net> wrote in > Hey Patricia! > Always good to hear from you!
