Question:

"James Wilson"  wrote… As of today, my Pdoc has me labled as a Social Phobic, PTSD, and Bi-Polar, and just plain depressed. I take 1500mg Depakote/day, 200mg Zoloft/day, and 2 mg Klonopin/day. My last blood test came back as anemic. My question is this, does anyone else here take as much Depakote?

i checked on medscape, and the recommended maximum dosage of oral depakote is 60 mg/kg. for a 150 lb (68 kg) person, that would amount to over 4000 mg/day. so, 1500 doesn’t sound like too much. i’ve taken depakote, but i have no idea how much i was on. -lisa

Response:

bipolar too and wondering where to get off the bus….

you can’t if i can’t. sorry. -lisa

Response:

I am on 1,000mgs a day but I am also on Lithium too.  I hate all these meds but I guess if it keeps me fairly under control then I should be happy. yeah right. Becky bipolar too and wondering where to get off the bus…. "I have seen the sea when it is stormy and wild; when it is quiet and serene; when it is dark and moody. And in all its moods, I see myself."      -Martin Buxbaum

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – This is the highest score I’ve ever given (I think, cuz my memory sucks): 6.9 The novelty or method is breathtaking.  But the theme is so old that it reduces the score quite a bit.  And there isn’t quite enough detachment, which shows immense vulnerability & pathos, so points are lost on that bit of wobbliness. From the California judgette. I agree that the method is good. In its style, it reminds me of the 9/11 attacks. I don’t mean to make light of 9/11. I just mean there are some similarities. In its execution, it does not remind me of 9/11. Different means. And not exectued with the same perfection.

Well, 9/11 was 3 really big events at once (and one fourth one attempted but thwarted.)  This is more like a denial of service attack.  Constant repetition, unending volume.  I think it’s a classic asd/f flame war, to be honest.  It’ll sputter out in a little bit.
