Ok survivors a little advice on approach please.

Question:

Also some Domestic Violence Agencies have contacts with counselors, etc. She might want to check into it. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’ll be talking with her tommorow, so keep you fingers crossed. Taipan

Response:

Hi Panther; Spike-franco relations have been strained since they told me to leave, France. And then there is that bust up canada thing. Though mr. clinton has told the french prez to shut up about that. The timeline says. <spike hiding behind hilary and tipper sticking is tounge out at the french govt. Hi Panther; Yes though a great american once said something to the effect of; Walk like a  panther but carry a big spiked stick. I think it was the spike (d) stick that did it for hum.  LOL You crack me up!

Still lots of great ppl, Eleanor, was a riotgrrl! She was a good prez. And a french general who got caught with his pants down said discretion is the better part of valor. Yeah but he was only a small prick <G

They made an icecream for him only 1/3 is ever any good. Take good care, You too! spike ps if your pet snake sticks his tounge out at you, it may not be naughty. He may work for the french govt. They should have been colonized by the States

It’s not to late.  A few stray nukes, a opps sorry was that your country? With all those chemicals you shipped to iraq it’s kinda hard to tell. Be well Panther, spike i don’t drink wine but if i did it would be the good stuff, from new york or the napa valley not that antifreeze french wine. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Panther <chuckle  Ok spike I was just trying to be discreet. Panther Hi; I was gonna suggest a big stick with a sharp nail sticking out. For the perp. I guess panthers way is best, for the survivor, however. Love and understanding are always helpful. Best hopes, spike I was just acquainted with the fact last weekend, at a cousin is the victim of a long term stalker and abuser.  As far as the legalities are concerned those are being handled.  But I am looking for some theraputic options for her.  Suggestions appreciated. Taipan Since it’s going through the legalities she should get in touch with the Victim’s Advocate usually located in the prosecutors office.  The VA should have a list of the communities mental health professionals and know who is dealing with therapeutic interventions.  Also if your cousin does not have money for therapy the Victim’s Advocate should have funds available to help the victim. If she/he doesn’t want to go that route then they should contact their community mental health center to see if there are any ongoing groups which address victim issues.  Most mental health centers also have a sliding scale fee which helps many. btw it is often more difficult for a male to find adequate help than females should your cousin be male. Another possibility is to contact the Safer Society who operates nationally although they are located in Vermont not far from me.  I know most of the Board Members and would be more than glad to get in touch with them for you to see who is in your cousins area. You can email me if you want more information Taipan. Best, Panther

12 steppin with co-da, ACA groups that fit with her are good. If you want to spend money – traditional accupuncture, biofeedback, and Rosenberg/Rand Integrative Body Psychotherapy interventions work on the PTSD issues real well, healing the Obsessive Compulsive issues and helping her to wake up and not repeat the disease pattern. Of course attraction works a lot better then promotion. Hand holding along the way is sometimes indicated. Even for the antidependents. sumbuddie – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I was just acquainted with the fact last weekend, at a cousin is the victim of a long term stalker and abuser.  As far as the legalities are concerned those are being handled.  But I am looking for some theraputic options for her.  Suggestions appreciated.
