Question:
To the inmates of Nutsville….what are you trying to do to me? I logged on a couple of minutes ago and there are over 300 posts… over 300!!! I turn my back for a couple of days and you all take "chatter" pills? My next few nights are mapped out now. :-) 
This is my first post here since Oct 14th. I wanted to make sure the person who was posting as me was being investigated. I have received an email notification which assures me that it is being done. It’s a sad state of affairs when someone impersonates another at any time, but on a support group it’s pathetic, and deliberately malicious. Scorpio

For having a strong opinion about whoever posted here pretending to be me? 1)Don’t you agree that it’s a pathetic action on the part of that person? 2)Wouldn’t you agree, knowing that this is a support group for people who have had some very ugly experiences visited upon them, that whoever deliberately posted under not only my name, but also of at least 2 other posters, was seeking to cause trouble? Hence my use of the word malicious. If you cannot begin to understand the stress and anguish that kind of action provokes,in this newsgroup, then I question your reasons to be here. Many of us have had the foulest abuse (physical and/or emotional and/or mental) committed against us, and therefore are subject, maybe a little more than the average person, to "trust issues" For someone to post here impersonating me violated the principle of a support group. We are supposed to be here to help each other. I felt that whoever read the shit being posted under my name would not trust me again easily. I also feel it is a form of abuse and should not be tolerated. Hence my complaint to the relevant authority, and their assurance to me that it IS being thoroughly investigated. Cut it out. We’ve seen a number of these sort of posts, pretending to be someone warning everyone that there’s a fake on the loose. Yeah, we’ve heard all that before. Mainly from Lucas, who is the only person on this group to be serially kicked off various ISP and news accounts for his abusive, offensive and threatening posts. He claims he’s being stalked, but somehow he doesn’t complain to the police, or if he does, then they can’t find anything to back up his stories. He accused me a few days ago of forging his posts and urged people to complain to my ISP. But when challenged to provide evidence for his baseless claims, he couldn’t. Nor did he apologise. He was dead wrong, but didn’t have the integrity to admit his error. He’s got a history of this sort of thing, pretending that his posts are being forged, but nothing ever comes of it. I think he likes to pretend he’s a victim. And you, whoever you are with a fake name and email, are crying foul about fakes. Pardon me if I doubt your credibility. Peter

It came here to stalk and harrass, it doesn’t have PTSD, and has no need to be here other than for what it’s main aim is. To cause trouble in the group. Does everybody who posts on the internet use their real names? I didn’t realise I was so out of step with the rest of the usenet community. Whether I use my birth name or a fake one, I still believe that to be forged or impersonated is a low act. You seem to take the opposing view. Noted. Not him…….. it goes by many names and many identities thru it’s forging. It changes it’s email address *all* the time, and will never use it’s real one. As noted above. You want to know why it changes it’s email address all the time?? So that you will have a *very* hard time trying to track down all it’s posts to use as evidence. It learnt that when it got investigated by the Australian Federal Police for Internet stalking. What was the outcome of that, Lucas? Any charges laid? Stalking is a serious crime, and if you have indeed complained to the police, it will be interesting to see if they find anything to back up your claims. And while we’re on the subject, I notice that you haven’t had the integrity to respond when I denied your baseless allegations about stalking and forging. Here, in case you missed it the first time, let me ask you again to do the decent thing. As the owner of the account Peter Lucas was foolish enough to mention previously, I can state with absolute certainty that it has not been used for stalking anyone, nor forging the posts of anyone here, as anyone silly enough to complain to my ISP will discover for themselves. I plead guilty only to pointing out the hypocrisy, petty-mindedness and untruthfulness of Peter Lucas as well as his abusive, threatening and offensive behavior, and I do so under my own name. I challenge Peter Lucas to either come up with evidence that I am responsible for the behaviour he accuses me of, or to make a public apology. Of course I expect him to do neither, but I leave it to others to decide whether a decent response is due to lack of courage (which is hardly a sin in this group) or to lack of personal integrity.
