Response:
Morceaux, I’m exceedingly sorry to have misled you…I intended the "Aftermath" as another resource; it’s actually a book, and when I checked the bookstore today I found it was out of print. If you can get your local used book dealer to keep a lookout for it, it’s an excellent primer on PTSD. I’ll get back to ya on the MPD/DID and PTSD school consolidation soon. Susan
Response:
Here’s an informative site… www.sidran.org/trauma.html I think this is helpful in explaining the overlaps of PTSD and DID. I’m off to refresh my memory there right now. See ya later folks, Sue

Morceaux, In regard to MPD/DID and PTSD consolidation…The info is at this site www.sidran.org/trauma.html and the date of the article is 1994. It’s the first brochure on the site; Dissociative Identity Disorder Brochure. Hope you find it helpful Susan

Goto http://members.aol.com/asulli1982/home.htm/home.htm this should be of some help or at least a starting point. Joseph R. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Here you go. I went to infoseek.com, entered PTSD and came up with all of these: http://infoseek.go.com/Titles?qt=PTSD&col=WW&sv=IS&lk=noframes&svx=ho… Just click on that, and take your pick. Hope this helps. -G. — Peace is the answer… …wanna’ fight about it? -Out of my mind. Back in five minutes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is me>>>> alangreg…@att.net

The top Psychiatrists are coming to terms agreeing that PSTD and Dissociation are one in the same. Try www.issd.org, and read AFTERMATH (understanding PTSD) by Mary-Ann Hybel-Steer Ph.D Keep up the research, it’s most rewarding to educate yourself in this healing process. Susan
