Hi, ATC. I just checked my Web site, and both it and the Zzapp home page appear to be up and functioning normally now.  There were some problems during the first couple of weeks after the attack on the Pentagon (Zzapp is located in Arlington, Virginia), but supposedly those have all been resolved now. Hello survivors, husbands, wives, lovers, partners, girlfriends, boyfriends, significant others, families and friends. This announcement is to let new folks know about my website, and to remind existing members of the newsgroup too. As I have been struggling with my own issues around abuse, PTSD and dissociation, I have been searching for related websites, information, articles, etc. on the Net, and have found a fair bit which I have found very helpful to me. After a couple of people asked questions to which I had relevant answers based on what I had found, I thought to myself that it might be a good idea to put some of this information together in one place as a website so that all could share in it. I created this website perhaps a couple of months ago or so. 90%-95% of the information applies to both males and females, but there is a good deal of stuff that applies largely or exclusively to guys, and that can be very hard to find on the Net. That was very helpful to me, and I hope can be helpful to some of you other guys out there too. There is a directory of low-cost or free patient-assistance programs for prescription drugs from the major drug companies in the U.S., and information on trauma from the American Psychiatric Association. There are also some excellent links to other sites with tons of information on trauma, plus some really excellent, in-depth articles on trauma and child sexual abuse, particularly as it applies to men who were abused as boys. You’ll find articles on PTSD, dissociation, and articles on psychological trauma, traumatic memories, and what it’s like to be the child of a parent who is a trauma survivor, as well as Canadian and British trauma resources. The URL is: http://www.zzapp.org/micksnyd/ursobear/trauma.html I hope you’ll find the website helpful. I’d truly appreciate any feedback. UrsoBear
