Its the kind of thing rejected spouses and lovers do on these "revenge sites" and for a newcomer hard to see what it has to do with support. What’s a revenge site? Is that what you think this is? My wife’s sister who went to school with me and is also a very good friend married a man who was abusive and controlling in the same way that I see here. I recognize many of the tactics the Andrew uses in that case. He gets so wrapped up in the lies that he has created to justify his own actions that reality goes bye bye. It took us ten years to get her out of that marriage and it has taken her ten years to recover and she still has a long way to go. She has two wonderful girls that she raises with the help if her parents and my family. The girls have adapted well. He never beat the kids. The thing is, I could very easily be him if it were not for my will power. BP puts me into a state of constant rage. It has only been the help of the medication that lets me continue. I would have killed myself before I laid a hand on my wife or kids in anger. I just about did myself in not long ago. I did not want to be on medicine. I wanted to get myself well by force of will. I was loosing. The past six months have been a breather from that anger. The medicines have made that disappear. I have not been angry for months except for yesterday and this was because of Andrew aka Bob. I;m not going to let it happen again. Hopper How’s your sister? Does she have problems with PTSD even after this much time? I find there isn’t much info out there if it’s an old issue, lot’s of support now that domestic violence is tres chic for the local politicians, but 20 years ago, this was still good ol’ boy country and that sort of thing was swept under the rug. Anger is my issue but when I tell the therapist I want to talk about this they always blow me off. I don’t get it…..But he’s been shooting at Anna for months and Linda forever..and me and he goes into the fat support groups and harasses those women in a very ugly and malignant way and I just had a meltdown…..no apologies..we don’t deserve this and he has no right to abuse anyone this way. I would recommend bobwhelan do some research before he makes accusations. Except she isn’t licensed in FL… nor have her parents died yet and left their estate to her as she was planning… DRUG BRAIN FRIED DEBORAH BENTLEY… WHO HAS TO LEAVE MESSAGES/NOTES TO HER – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – You may be admitted to a mental health facility either voluntarily or involuntarily Criteria for a person to be taken to a recieving facility for involuntary examination are: #1There is reason to believe that a person is mentally ill and because of the mental illness: a) Has refused voluntary examination after someone has explained it’s purpose, or b)Cannot determine by him/herself whether an examination is necessary #2 In addition to "a" or "b" above, one of the following conditions must also be present: a) That without care and treatment, the person is likely to suffer from real and immediate substantial harm either from neglect or refusal to take care of him/herself, inspite of the efforts of family, friends or other services being provided, or b)Recent behavior shows that there is substantial likelihood that without care and treatment, the individual may do serious harm to him/herself or others A person undergoing involuntary examination may not be detained longer than 72 hours unless the facility administrator executes a petition with the circuit court requesting the person’s commitment for involuntary treatment. This petition shall be filed in the appropriate court on the first court working day thereafter. The court shall hold the hearing within (5) days unless a continuance is granted. All patients have the right to file a petition (Writ of Habeas Corpus) which challenges the legality of your detention and requests your release. The court has the option to hold a new hearing or not consider the petition. If you are involuntarily commited to a treatment facility, you may request your discharge by notifying staff of your decision in writing. If you approach staff verbally staff must assist you in making the written request. The staff must then forward your request to the facility administrator, and within 24 hours you must either be released or or the administrator must execute a petition for your continued commitment to the court. If a hearing before the judge is required, you will be appointed a public defender if you cannot afford an attorney. Through your attorney, you may request an independant evaluation by a qualified mental health professional that is appointed by the court. If you are involuntarily comitted, you cannot be held longer than (6) months without a hearing before a "hearing examiner" to determine your need for further commitment. You have the right to be represented by an attorney and the right to be released if it is shown that you no longer meet the criteria for involuntary commitment.
