Question:
I woke up today with my chest hurting. I feel sickly all the time. Chest pain, chest pressure, head pressure, mild difficulty breathing and feel like I dont give it a shit. Just like whatever. Kind of listless. Damn what a miserable existence I live…just like sucking up pain all the time. What a bunch of shit.
Did you ever think it may be your own fault, advocating and pumping lethal psychiatric drugs into your system has fucked you up? It will happen to everyone here too in time, who pumps these horrific meds into themselves. I bet every physical problem you have can be traced back to some medication you are throwing down. But as your name implies, Who Gives A Shit.

What you don’t seem to understand, is that the lack of drugs can make you sicker. That does not mean your curiousity about symptoms goes away – it’s a simple question. When I did not take my drugs I had a stroke – just as much an object of curiousity as long as I was alive – it came close to ending though. Squiggles

Well, take your case and what few posts I’ve seen of yours. You’re a klonopin addict, plain and simple. You’ve been on it much longer than even the drug pushers recommend. You can’t come off of it without physical symptoms, and I don’t think you had a stroke, I believe you said stroke-like. Maybe wrong. When people can’t get off benzos, they go to rehab and have awful symptoms caused by the poison drugs. You, OTOH, go the doctor for MORE, to feed your addiction. You ARE an addict. Denial is part of addiction. You have two choices. Get off the drug, and live with the damage caused BY THE DRUG, or remain a slave to Klonopin.

Eric, I have read and it has been cited here that bipolars have seizoid activity in the brain and that is the reason why Klonopin (an anti-convulsant drug) is necessary. Therefore, when I come off it I get the recurrence of seizures or epileptoid acitivty. I confess that I do not know if this is entirely true, as they also give it for concurrent GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). It is true, I don’t know and I can’t go back. Either way, I am very very sick without it and I am (seem to be) getting better with it. You are right, I have been taking a long time, and what I had is not categorized medically, but it felt like a stroke and it left me sick for a month – maybe it was encephalitis, high blood pressure, I just don’t know. You seem to know a lot about me, that’s why I call you Eric, in case you have been reading the posts. Anyway, what has to be done now, is a pragmatic matter and not a matter of pharmacopolitics. So the ideological fervour is not a humanitarian move at all on your part. Squiggles

For ages I said I didn’t want to go on the drugs, but as a promise to Bryan I said I’d go talk to the doctor, I have to try everything before I give up. Then I can finally say, "this is as good as it gets" Laura

Read above, classic signs of addiction, no doubt started by a do gooder pill pusher. Get help, get a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinion, or maybe you don’t want to know the truth?

You just don’t get it do you? The truth is irrelevant! Health is – the possibility of stability NOT the pride of dying Benzo-free. doh Squiggles

It’s not stability, you’re experiencing withdrawal. A-D-D-I-C-T-I-O-N Think of how long term benzo use destroys the brain. The truth is irrelevant!

This is ignorance personified. Who are you and what is the matter with you? Squiggles

It is your right to have this opinion, but a lot of us cant function without our medications, and they have allowed us to at least get out and do some things in the time (long or short) we have left. I know, I am on methadone, I was a heroin addict for 12 years, destroyed my brain chemistry, and now have to take it to maintain any level of endorphin activity. I cannot even begin to describe the depth of depression that comes along with opioid withdrawal. In addition, I take Elavil and Ativan or Librium for my PTSD, caused by years of sexual abuse, rape, and violence at the hands of my father. Anyway, Im not looking for your sympathy, empathy, or psychopathy for that matter, all I am saying is its a terrible and uneducated idea that EVERYONE can live with dropping thier meds. Benzo withdrawal can cause death, as can methadone withdrawal. My friend Jessica died in the Yakima Co. jail a few months ago because they refused her methadone when she was dependent on it, not addicted. We are NOT addicted to our medications, we are DEPENDENT on them. There is a difference. I am an addict, a recovering heroin addict, who is dependent on his meds. Meds that have kept me halfway sane. I just am thankful I wont be alive much longer. Thats when I wont need my meds anymore. Trent

I am curious if your auditory hulicinations have been going on for a long time, or are a recent development.
