Question:
Mike Sandler wrote The anticipated collaboration between acclaimed guitar virtuosi Mike Sandler and Oren Zero is almost underway. Somebody help me here.
Seriously Mike, seeing as Oren Zero derives his screen name from the strong physical resemblance be bears to the character "Zero" in the Beetle Bailey comic strip, I think you should make your collaboration a Beetle Bailey Theme Band. You could wear a military helmet over your eyes like Beetle. Or maybe you could gain weight and be Sgt Snorkel. Or perhaps you could put on a bunch or medals and be General Halftrack….. The possibilities are endless. Jarl Sigurd to listen to a song Oren Zero wishes he had written, visit: http://www.ampcast.com/search/band.php?id=9098 and download "Darling Delirious".

Music enthusiasts the world over! Take heed! The anticipated collaboration between acclaimed guitar virtuosi Mike Sandler and Oren Zero is almost underway. There is smoke pouring from Sandler’s CPU, but dammit the show must go on. So what should we call this little duo? Sandler and Zero doesn’t really ring true. Or does it? Perhaps Oren would prefer Zero and Sandler. Or maybe we could be Mike and Oren = Moren. No that sounds like Moron. Space Buddies?
hmmm, let me tighten that last one up a bit, how about The Space Brothers? Seeing as you’re both working with ambient styles, and the term "Space Brothers" has a history in the annals of UFOlogy.

Finishing touches going on today. I’ve got a real percussion challenge for you. Remember I said there was a section in 7/4 and a section in 11/8? Well, I put those on, but then I superimposed one over the other. You know like sometimes bands do 3 over 4, or in more sophisticated instances like Dream Theater doing 4/4 over 15/8? Well, here’s 7/4 over 11/8.
Gettin’ all polyrhythmic on me, eh? Why, I oughtta… Have fun! BWAHAHAHAHA <== devious mad scientist laugh.
I’ll try. This’ll give me an excuse to funk around with the "Chopper" function in ACID Pro 3.0, I’m sure o’ THAT much. Are you leaving me some space to work with, Mike?

I think you do but I wanted to make sure. If so I’ll leave the looooooow stuff to you. Music enthusiasts the world over! Take heed!
