Question:
Bad day~bad,rotten,terrible~and am in trouble once again. They keep adding pple to our grp who are not even close to PTSD just depressed. Then today CD grp got into it with other van driver cause they were late for breakfast~now our van has never made it and we don’t b’tch cuz we know how far the routes go. But two of these pple in other van are mad cuz their driver won’t play THEIR radio station. So they reported their driver as driving too fast { and they want to get there in time for breakfast~the pple live in another county? Anyway POWER games escalated all day until it was scary. At lunch one of them got behind me and kept bumping my tray and making sexual remarks etc. My asthma which has not been great since we started program~really kicked in.Ate a little but the bad crowd sat behind us~kicking chairs at our table {there were 3 pple with us at table} So we { our insiders} went back to our grp room. They followed and went to theirs {next door} Well by the time some of rest of grp showed we were in resp. distress. Someone ran for nurse. They kept talking us thru cough,wheeze,breathing{lack of really} threatening us with hospital~the one nearest them is awful!} After an hr we were doing better so CHOSE to go back to grp. Well the leader {another CD one } started giving out pics of muscular angry-looking man with tears in eyes and told us to write story about pic. Oh the man was hairy~chested and pic ended at waist. Sorry to guys here~we aren’t man-haters_but this was too much. We crumbled paper and threw it in trash.When the leader asked why we told her man looked too scary. So she stupidly said pretend it is a woman and tried to give us another pic and got really po’d when we refused. The "Rocker" said~anymore reasons not to work. Well guess we zoned out totally. All of a sudden we were really being attacked~noticed everyone was finished and talking about theirs. Leader was giving us hell. Rocker pple said we were not taking advantage of program. Well Anne blew. She called them a f’g bunch of idiots and had us heading for door. Leader locked door and we all burst into tears. Wheezing was back and we just stood there crying,coughing,wheezing. It was time to go so they led us to office~another contract and again talk of ER for asthma. We are not happy campers. Are we the only ones who could put things together and react the way we did~stupid as we feel now. And guess what the lottery continues~we get another full week next week.Why couldn’t it be a real program? We wanted help so bad. Are we just being impossible? Jackie~CD is chemical dependency.The pic freaked us out because the commotion had been so bad that the angry man looked like our d’d.We wanted nothing to do with pic.Would have written story had she given us a blank sheet of paper.Part of the WITT prog was to be sensitive to our fears of men in our life~and after my day,we were close to flashback anyway.To give us a half-naked man was cruel.We tried to explain but got the pretend its a woman crap { by the way loved your story } The Rocker is the supposedly cured DID who rocks and moves continously and puts her hands inside her shirt if no pockets. We thinketh the program is bringing up memories with noone to help.Once we were home thought our behavior was stupid~but not then{ loud angry male voices all day set us off } so zoning out came easily.The leader was another CD leader with CD paper.Another time things would not have gone that way for us.
