Kristine, I would have to second that motion regarding anxiety and depression. I was anxious for about three months straight this time last year and it really got me depressed. I was in a situation where I felt like I was facing my rapists every day, though none of the jerks ever touched me. It was the uniform and behaviors of those idiots that stirred those feelings inside me. But it was the fighting on a daily basis for my right to exist as a female, being the only one in an office of about 18; I had to fight for my right to the position as the senior person; and I had to fight with someone senior to me who continuouly undermined my authority to junior folks. WHEW!! Talk about exhaustion!!!! Luckily, I got moved away from the office that was causing the anxiety and my depression slowly subsided. Deeanna

Hello, Hell yes! <G> I haven’t read anything about it. But I know that feeling anxious for long periods, really beats me down. I just get sick of fighting all the time. Just my $.02 YMMV -G. Has there been anything commonly shown that sustained high levels of anxiety can cause depression? I think I’ve read this, but would appreciate some info if anyone has it. Kristine
