Question:
Hey Kat, It’s good to "hear" you a bit bubbly again!
I like that song too, it empowers me, just keep humming it Kat! And another one gone, another one gone, another one bites the dust! Yeah! Geez Kat, I don’t know what to tell you, on my computer the thingie highlights the address, I don’t have to type anything in, it just says "would you like to delete all messages from so and so" and I click on "okay" and the get zapped! Humming and another one gone, another one gone, another one bite’s the dust…….sorry, I just start singing/humming automatically, can’t stop myself! My back gets a bit better as long as I don’t sit or stand for any length of time, as soon as I do it starts aching really bad again. I sure am tired of being flat on my back, especially when I’m not even getting any "action" while there!
Monty is a trip! She’s so damn cute, all legs feet and baby teeth right now! She bit me in the nose last week, I think she thinks "noses" were put on our faces as "puppy teethers." She just loves them! I was lying on my bed, on the heating pad at the time, so all I could manage was to cover up my face with my hands, so she immediately "sat on my face trying to weasel her way under my hands to get at my nose once again. I was laughing so hard and didn’t want to uncover my face with my hands so I was pretty well helpless to get her off my head! She is such a stinker. Daughter has a baby gate up at her house to keep Monty in the living area, away from her bedroom and office during the daytime. Well Whiskey has learned to hurdle that gate, so that’s how she escapes from Monty for a bit. Monty is like a hyper-active two year old right now. But just cute as the dickens! On the other hand, grandbaby doesn’t do much of anything yet except eat and poop! He also is all legs and feet, so I imagine he might be a "big one" too! Hubby though is impressed with his "equipment"! We’ve only had girls so he’s not seen baby boys naked before. His eyes just about popped out of his head. I said, "honey, I think they "grow into it" sort of like their heads! He seems to be a good baby though, hardly cries at all. And shitbag has been a real trooper, I have to admit. She’s been an only child for 11 years but has adapted really well. She doesn’t appear a bit jealous, more like a neurotic "grandmother". She hovers around where ever he is and if he cries at all, or even makes funny noises, she’s got my daughter "herded" over there to check on him. Poor little thing is used to sleeping much of the day, so now that she’s "on call" all day keeping tabs on her new little brother she’s exhausted by nighttime! I’m so jealous of your weather…….:-( It’s still hot here, and muggy. I’m sorry to hear about your "hubby friction." What about maybe a job at nighttime, like stocking shelves in a store or something where you don’t have to deal with a lot of people, just the couple that you work with?? That’s kind of what I like about the UP, not so many people to deal with, just the few locals. As for the witch, we can’t retire for a couple years yet, by the time we’d be able to move I think she’d be long gone from there. That’s my step-fathers country and other than him, she’s managed to alienate everybody else up there, so when he’s gone she’ll have to hightail it out of town quickly, before they can get a group together to tar and feather her. I talked to my step sister last week and she said she’d love for me to come up there. I replied, "I can’t do that, then I’d have to see the wicked witch of the midwest!" And "great" step sister said "we just won’t tell her you’re here!" Your horse sounds great, I hope you’re able to find her a good home. Couldn’t you keep a few of your babies?? Take them with you or something?? Well, I better post this before I get charged extra for length. Best wishes, tiny dancer "Kat" <kathi…@frontiernet.net> wrote in message

Really? I have to type in the addresses. We must have different versions of Outlook, or maybe a different operating system? Well, I like the way yours does it!!! No wonder you hum that song as you’re zapping it!!! > My back gets a bit better as long as I don’t sit or stand for any length of > time, as soon as I do it starts aching really bad again. ROTF!!! You GOOF!!! What, you don’t count Monty as "action"? Sounds pretty active to me. LOL!!! Jeez Tiny, you always make me laugh! I’ve missed you! : ) > Monty is a trip! Puppies are SOOO cute!!! But especially labs. Could be I’m just a wee bit partial though. hehehe : ) Setting on your face?!!! I’d have been laughing too, and then when you laugh, it only winds them up more!!! First time I’ve ever heard a nose referred to as a puppy teether though. But I think you’re right, mine were always just fascinated with noses too. > On the other hand, grandbaby doesn’t do much of anything yet except eat and > poop! He also is all legs and feet, so I imagine he might be a "big one" > too! Hubby though is impressed with his "equipment"!
There’s supposed to be a way to figure out how tall a baby’s going to get from their birth length and leg length, but I don’t remember how it went. They did that with my little brother, and the doctor told his mom that he would be at LEAST 6′5", and probably a touch more. Which no one believed it. But Josh is 18 now, and 6′6" tall. I don’t remember how it was figured though, but there was some formula for figuring it, and this doctor hardly ever missed "the mark". Typical man though, your husband’s response about the little guy’s "equipment"!!! LOL!!! : ) >He seems to be a good baby though, hardly cries at all.
That’s GOOD!!! *smiling broadly* >And shitbag > has been a real trooper, I have to admit. She’s been an only child for 11 > years but has adapted really well. Wow. That’s kind of neat. Sort of puts shitbag in a whole new light, doesn’t it? : ) That’s sweet, that she does that. I love animals. They are so neat. > I’m sorry to hear about your "hubby friction."
That’s all right. We almost divorced last year, even went so far as to even get a court date. But we decided to try again. So I’m all right with it all. Sort of a "wait & see" attitude. And planning for my babies–just in case. What about maybe a job at > nighttime, like stocking shelves in a store or something where you don’t > have to deal with a lot of people, just the couple that you work with?? > That’s kind of what I like about the UP, not so many people to deal with, > just the few locals.
Ahh, great minds think alike!!! : ) That’s exactly what I thought about too, because for some reason, I can go out at nighttime and I usually do all right. I don’t get panicky like I do in the daytime. I think the idea that no one can see me is a safety thing or something? I’m not sure. But I know this much, I’ll be all right. Whichever way this marriage goes. At this point, in a way, it’s starting to feel like it would be a huge relief. To be able to be AWAY from all the stress he thrives on. I care about him, yes, but there comes a point when "love" just isn’t enough. It’s just NUTS. *shaking my head* >As for the witch, we can’t retire for a couple years > yet, by the time we’d be able to move I think she’d be long gone from there. > That’s my step-fathers country and other than him, she’s managed to alienate > everybody else up there, so when he’s gone she’ll have to hightail it out of > town quickly, before they can get a group together to tar and feather her.
LOL!!! Sounds like she NEEDS tarred and feathered!!! The uppers are such laid back folks, if she’s pissed them all off and alienated everyone, she must be QUITE the wing-ding!!! *shaking my head* > I talked to my step sister last week and she said she’d love for me to come > up there. I replied, "I can’t do that, then I’d have to see the wicked > witch of the midwest!" And "great" step sister said "we just won’t tell her > you’re here!"
Cool!!! Your stepsister sounds really nice. And funny too. : ) > Your horse sounds great, I hope you’re able to find her a good home. > Couldn’t you keep a few of your babies?? Take them with you or
something?? I don’t know. I hope so. I’d like to. But trying to find a place to rent that will allow animals? It would put more pressure on me, worrying about THEM, and pressure of any sort just triggers the PTSD more. I’m all right with it if it comes to letting them go to the rescues. I know I’ll cry, but still. I need to do what’s best for them and me. Last year I cried a lot. But now? I’ve had a year to think about it, and get used to the idea. Plus, I’ve done a lot of rescue work, and I can let an animal go. Good rescue facilities have lifetime policies, that if you for some reason you can’t keep the dog, it goes back there to be placed again. And they screen potential owners VERY carefully. My "big thing" is that I have to KNOW in my heart, that whoever they go to, or wherever they GO, is a good place, and a safe place for them, a LOVING place. And the places I’ve talked to, they have good reputations, they were recommended by my vet. I spoke with the woman last year who runs one of the lab rescues, and she was so nice and compassionate, you could hear it in her voice. (talked to her last year when we almost divorced) So it’s okay, not wonderful, no, but I just have to get myself in a position of better mental health at this point. And if he’s not willing to face my problems, then I need to be on my own, so I can face them, and get myself better. > Well, I better post this before I get charged extra for length.
hehehe! Thanks Tiny, you take care too, eh? : ) Was so tickled to see your post!!!
