Question:
>I’ve read Sally’s posts and I can say they attempt to sound like someone >counseling others. In a big way. Constantly. With huge paragraphs.
That’s just it. She is supposedly diagnosed with PTSD but receives absolutely NO treatment for it, plus is happy married and a student to boot. I feel as though she and I are NOT on the same level and I have noticed too, that she tends to counsel others too. If she was on the same level as myself, I possibly could relate, but alas…..I MUST have treatment for my PTSD. Thanks! Lu
Response:
> I have not been diagnosed.
Okay….wait a minute…you have NOT been diagnosed with PTSD, yet you are on several lists for PTSD (when I had my list, is was specifically for folks diagnosed with PTSD, yet you joined anyway), you post on this newsgroup, counsel others with PTSD, yet you remain a happily-married student who works with disabled children? You receive NO treatment for PTSD – no counseling no meds – it has not even been determined that you HAVE PTSD because you won’t allow yourself to be examined by a psychiatrist…… I don’t get it? What’s wrong with the above picture? You go out into the world, have giggling lunches with girlfriends, study for exams, but you won’t go to a doctor?? DUH! Yes, Nancy, I am being judgmental, I know, but I just can’t help it. This is why I cannot relate to Sally. Lu
