Question:
Whoa Sky! Those are intense panic symptoms. Are you having PMS problems maybe on top of the PA. Are you on any Medicines now? Even though panic attacks in it self is not a emergency when you start hurting yourself or someone else it is. Charla
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Everything was fine. We were watching a movie, and I had a full blown PA. I told my husband I wasn’t feeling good. I tried to get up and go wash my face off (because I get real hot), and I passed out cold. We got me settled real quick when I woke up, but I was in a very odd mood. I went into the kitchen to refill my bottle of water (my husand told me this because I don’t remember), and he followed me in there. He touched my shoulders and for some reason, it freaked me out. I turned around and started wailing on him. Throwing punches hard. He didn’t get hit (held his arms up)… next thing I know, I’m on the kitchen floor waking up from another fainting spell. I felt spent and very weak. I don’t know what set this off. I was thinking about a few personal things and I guess they caught up with me. I don’t know, but last night was bad. I feel like I ran a marathon today. Just sort’ve wiped out. The only good thing I can say about this is at least we know it’s not seizures like we originally thought. I am in therapy. And my doc. knows I have fainting spells. It’s stress related when I become extremely agitated or have bad PAs. It’s my inner way of coping. Instead of freaking out (bad choice of words, sorry), I pass out. I’m only out for about 5 seconds. I hate it tho’. — Sky…
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – It seems to me that it’s time to look in a different direction now that they have ruled out seizures. You definitely need to see a psych. doctor for your panic attacks asap. Have you been checked for low blood sugar? Are you eating well? I’m not a doctor, but I’d want to know the cause of the fainting spells. Good luck and I will be sending prayers and good thoughts your way. Please keep us informed…. ~Rita Everything was fine. Oh yes. I’m on several meds. I just bubbled over that night. And it knocks the wind out of me because yesterday I felt very subdued and remained very quiet. My husband is such a rock for me. He kept asking me all day if I was okay, could he get me anything, etc. I also went to bed fairly early last night. This is something that happens to me every now and then. I’ve been diagnosed with BPD. I so hoped that the latest med. my doc put me on would stop me from passing out from PAs, but it happened again. The good thing is that this is the first episode in a very long, long time. I believe it was from several things. One main issue is my weight gain. But, we bought a stationary bike, which was delivered this morning. I’m going to get on it for the first time this afternoon!! :) (Oh, and we bought a small 13" to go with it, so I can watch TV and ride my way to good health!) — Sky…

Dear Sky, Please call your psych doctor Monday and tell him what happened to you. Whenever you black out and can`t recall things…..it has to be taken seriously. Luckily, no one got hurt, but what about next time? Call your doctor! Jackie

I’m sorry you had such a bad time last night. Just guessing, but it sounds like some kind of post traumatic stress reaction. I hope you feel better tonight. Sasha

I’ve been in my favorite pjs all day. My husband is being so sweet. He knows ‘these things happen’. It also doesn’t help that I’m PMSing right now… I’m just glad the episode is over. Thanks Les!! — Sky…
