Question:
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – DO NOT start on these drugs to allieviate…these recommendations make me sick. seek professional help, but trust your own inner voice, as these drugs will feed the pharmaceutical corporate monsters and support addiction to them. Make mental notes to yourself towards improvement and work with them; non-drug treatment has been proven to work also, and in many cases. Oh dear – and I suppose those same ‘pharmaceutical corporate monsters’ are the same ones responsible for the world banking conspiracy, Zionist plots to take over the planet and evil flying saucers from the planet Zog? Yeah, thought so… — Gary Cooper
Phew!! I’m glad someone as articulate and intelligent can relate!

Excuse me lady, but I’d rather be "addicted" to metoprolol than deal with the alternative of being Autistic. I would much rather take being ADD and have an afternoon coughing spree than be unfunctional socially due to adrenaline feedback tantrums. Also, I object to your loaded use of the word "drug". You learned Seppo Newspeak(tm) very well, I see. I have found that talk therapy is 100% completely useless. I need my DRUGS. Drug drug drug. Stupid seppo bitch. Get a bleeding clue. Or do you need drugs to calm down first? — CAUTION: Email Spam Killer in use. Interesting how you assume I’m a female; are there some hangups in this area of your life?…I’m a male, "bitch", and the original post had nothing to do with someone like you, as it’s obvious you do need the drugs. I’d never suggest someone like yourself live without them, based on your response, you do indeed have lots of problems.

Gary wrote about someone else writing: <BR ….snip Make mental notes to yourself towards improvement and<BR work with them; non-drug treatment has been proven to work also, and in<BR many cases.<BR
snip… <BR I’ve got lots of those mental notes. If anyone needs any let me know. In fact my mind is full of them. A lifetime of them. And since they didn’t work, well, there must be something "wrong" with me. I didn’t feel that way when I couldn’t will away a headache. Yet when I couldn’t will away depression I felt, as well as others, that I was less of a person. Interesting. Mike B

If there is any doctors out here I have a very serious life-debilitating problem. It all started 15 years ago, I was out one night with a friend of mine and we were approached by two men.and they asked us do we want to go to breakfast and we said yes, to my amazement they turned out to be pimps! and one of them confronted me in the car and yelled get the hell in! and that kind of startled me and I told him I had to go in and let my friend know where I was and then I dashed from the car and ran in and pulled her out the restaurant and told her the situation and we left running out the restaurant and we did’nt look back I ran all the red lights to get home. The next thing I knew In the next few hours I was sick to my stomach. And know when I have to go apply for jobs or take tests I get that same scared to death feeling even though I not in any danger. Could you Please give me some advice on what to do I don’t want to take any antidepressant drugs , I just want some advice or natural remedy treatment.

If you don’t want to take medications there isn’t much a medical doctor can really do for you, I’d have thought. If that is the case, your best bet would be to get to see a clinical psychologist who could probably help you with a system called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – which is a series of techniques designed to work on anxiety disorders. It’s quite safe and some people find it very effective. Hope that’s some help. — Gary Cooper

You could probably benefit from consulting a few psychologists who are familiar with PTSD and probably employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Best Wishes, Arthur

seems like an OCD condition to me. if you keep having flashbacks and repeated thoughts of 15 years ago. try luvox for the OCD and if you get drowsiness add ritalin. if that doesn’t help then its not OCD/ANXIETY or DEPRESSION . it’s interesting that it manafests itself at introductions maybe it’s not related totally to the 15 yearago event. i’m not a doctor but may get a masters in psycholgy when my kids are grown -up. take care fellow sufferor. l.humbel
