I would watch out for the Xanax, from what I understand it is a lubbly jubbly drug and makes you feel heaps better but the more you take the more you want……….. just hearsay maybe, people that have talked on this newsgroup. In the UK it is a forbidden drug, purely because of it’s addictive nature and is impossible to get hold of. Michelle

Everytime I get put on zanax I try and commit suicide. Every single time. Even klonopin is bad for me. "daft duck" <daft.d…@nowhere.com> wrote in message

Response:
xanax is highly addictive and supposedly is only given as a short term drug. I loved it. Called it my "make-the-world-go-away" pills. It sure does work for anxiety. woo wooo…. Damo

RU4Real, I am in a similar situation and I fully realize the complete futiity they can make you face. Absolutely drive you crazy it will. The first thing they did with me was repeatedly search m belongings and repeatedly ask me if I had a gun. I suppose they planned it all out. The cops……this was all several years ago at the beginning. Anway, one thing I am very thankful for is that, although they can ignore me, I have the platform of my guitar music from which to contradict their perspectives and their flawed judgements. If you would like, e-mail me and I’ll send you the address of a copy of my recent CD’s insert. I’m selling it around town. I can not explain how thankful I am for my guitar and the platform it presents me.I truely do not know how you can handle being degraded like they have done without such an outlet. I am so so so thankful for my music and I can resist their tyranny and oppression with it. And I will continue to do so. And I am very sorry for those who they have killed, those who have died because of their inhuman, mechanistic approach to handling our Social Security accounts. Of course, you can not dispute that people have died because of the way Social security treated them. I accept fully that some would have died going through what I have, and what you have. Surely some of us die at their hands. I thank God for my music or I’d have no idea where I would have wound up at this point. Good luck RU4Real. Damodara

Hello Will, It sounds like you are going through a really bad time right now. It sure doesn’t help that Social Security is so ignorant of the reality of people like you. I don’t know if I can help at all, but I wanted to respond and let you know I am a sympathetic listener/reader. I can relate to your feeling abandoned and not trusting anyone, especially doctors. In my opinion, psychiatric meds *are* poison, but I don’t have hallucinations to deal with so I can’t say what would be the ideal solution for anyone but myself. We all know that ECT and restraint is bad for human beings, as are most psychiatric hospitals. In a way, I agree with your mother about dealing with hallucinations by ignoring them. But that’s because I’ve read a book about, and been in contact with, people who have formed support groups of "voice hearers". They learn to deal with voices in essence by telling them where to get off every time they come to bother them. I found this website among others: http://www.hearingvoices.org.uk/resources11.htm But your voices have apparently given you good advice. It must be scary to hear voices, but from what I can understand they’re not all that much different from thoughts. Some of my thoughts are helpful to me and some of my thoughts are harmful. It might be worth your while to sort out which ones you want to listen to. And maybe keep up with the massage therapy, that’s always a good idea. I also wanted to say that it seems pretty clear that your wife loves you, so of course there’s hope that you will get out of this hell very soon. I wish you the best of luck.
