<interesting advice snipped to save space You are not alone. Recently at the hospital I am on the staff of, had a world-renowned MD/PHD in to talk to our Medical Staff on his area of expertise. He came to the Pharmacy, described his speaking phobia candidly to me and asked for the above combination of drugs to get him through his presentation.

Ah, Charles – how nice to be a doctor and be *able* to do this :) From personal experience I’d agree with your approach, absolutely and without reservation, but as someone posted here very recently, there seems to be a growing number of doctors out there who regard Xanax on a level with opiates :( — Gary Cooper

Gary- I have heard, by word of mouth, that there is at least one research group seriously investigating the use of opiates in the treatment of panic disorder.  I haven’t read any of their work, nor do I know anything at all about their results.  Hey, if it works….. Hirsch
